Year 2 have explored the events of The Great Fire of London. We looked at how and where it started and that it happened in 1666. We learnt that it destroyed most of London and that six people lost their lives.
This led us to think about what went wrong and what the people in London did to try and save themselves and their belongings. We acted out different scenarios, thinking about what we would do today and how we would act differently. Then we worked together in groups to create a 1666 house using collage to show it was on fire!
