Following on from our spider cookies last week, the Reception children found a story called ‘Biscuit Bear’ in our library. During our literacy lessons, the children have been expanding their curiosity and questioning skills about how to make biscuits and how he came alive. We acted out the story, developing our own versions and as a class decided, we wanted to change the ending. During play and learn time, the children linked their maths learning and made a biscuit bear recipe. Next, we decided to make the recipes and decorate the children’s biscuits into different colours.
