During Design and Technology Week, each class were asked to make a cultural dish, dedicated to their given continent. Nursery were given Europe, so we decided to make Italian Pizza’s!
The children had lots of fun throughout the week, learning about Pizza, where it’s come from and how it is made. Taste testing ingredients, design pizza’s with arts and crafts and listening to Italian speaking and music were some of the many activities the children participated in this week! To complete a fantastic week of learning, the school celebrated ‘World Food Day’. We had our own stall in the school hall where all of the children’s Pizza’s were then displayed for the parents to purchase!
