To celebrate World Science Day, Year2 completed a fun and scientific filled morning in class. We had the opportunity to speak to a STEM representative (Anthony – a landscape architect) about his work in the STEM industry. We learnt a lot about what a landscape architect does and what it might mean for our society.
We then completed an exciting experiment, whereby we explored what would happen to milk and food colouring when a small amount of washing up liquid is added. We were amazed at the results!
Lots of children in class told us that they now love science and what to be scientists when they are older.
