Go into the garden and look for signs of new life. Take a photo of it and add to tapestry.

 

Draw a picture of a flower in bloom. Don’t forget the leaves, the stem and the petals.

 

Can you write a sentence about a flower you have seen.

 

Talk to a grown up about when you were a baby. Think about how you have changed and what things have stayed the same. Using objects you have at home. Count out a pile and pretend Mr. Number Taker has taken away 5. How many do you have left?
Look for words in your environment at home. Can you make a list of words you find. Your target is 10.

 

How many knives and forks do you need to lay on.the table for all your family. Set the table with a knife, fork and spoon for each person and take a picture. Add it to tapestry. Think about a song you enjoy at the moment. Can you perform this song either by singing the words or creating a dance. Video this and add it to tapestry. Make up a list of real and nonsense words that rhyme with hat -cat, mat etc..

 

Can you draw your house using different shapes? Find different objects to use for your shapes.

Practise writing the letters in your name. Make sure you are holding your pencil with 3 fingers Draw a picture of a flower in bloom. Don’t forget the leaves, the stem and the petals.

 

Go into the garden and look for signs of new life. Take a photo of it and add to tapestry. Talk to a grown up about when you were a baby. Think about how you have changed and what things have stayed the same. Jasper grew a beanstalk. Can you tell your grown up about what we need to make a seed grow?
Have a look around your home for numbers. Can you take some pictures and add to your tapestry page? Can you sort a basket of socks? Ask the children to sort a selection of mixed up socks back into their correct pairs. How many socks do you have altogether? Can you learn a new song and perform it to a grown up?
