Year 1 – In science this half term, we are learning about our senses. We have explored our sense of taste. We tasted lemon juice, honey, marmite, milk, vinegar and orange squash. We described what we could taste using amazing adjectives. Look at our faces! Do you think we liked the tastes?

In Year 1 we have been learning about Andy Goldsworthy. Andy Goldsworthy is a British sculptor and photographer. He is know for using natural materials such as rock, mud, pine cones, leaves and branches to create his art work. We explored his work and created our own art piece replicating his style.
