As part of our work on our ‘Aspiring Entrepreneurs’ strand of our curriculum drivers, we held our first learning sale at the end of the first half term. Each class were provided with £20 to source items to be able to make products to sell on their classes stall. The children in each class had to plan, design, make, advertise and sell their products, hoping to ‘grow’ their original £20, making a profit. Our first learning sale was a huge success and in total we made £252, meaning we made a profit of £130. We are already looking forward to our next event – a Christmas Craft Fair.
