TUDOR BANQUET

Today in Year 3, we had a Tudor banquet to introduce our new topic, the Tudors. We dressed up as Tudor Kings and Queens by wearing a gold crown. Before we ate our feast we had to bow and curtsey to have our crown placed on our heads. We then were seated by our servants onto a long table.

For drinks we were given wine glasses (plastic) to drink our wine (juice) just like they would have done during the Tudor era. In the back ground, we had Tudor music playing and also some entertainment (dancers) dancing around the room. We then were served with fresh warm bread, sausages, pastries and lastly something sweet to finish our meal off.

We loved our Tudor banquet and can’t wait to find out about Tudors over this half term!
